I would like to share my experience that start up on June 6th 2025. A week prior I had been working in Washington DC and noticed trouble with coordination of legs, balance. I managed to get through my whole trip and back to Columbus Ohio, that Friday I went to the ER at Dailey road stating I couldn't walk, the doctor had me transported to Mt. Carmel East ER after they had ran and MRI and cat Scan they found I had possibly cancer on the spinal cord compression I was thinking it was just a pinched nerve I was admitted for about a week the staff from the ER the whole entire 5th floor staff of Mount Carmel doctors and nurses were wonderful in caring I can name off names but just a mention a few Tammy RN, Dee, Hannah, Tatum, Kayla, I can't remember everybody but the staff the doctors Kaur, GottiPati, Yannay and Baum, Bree. Mt Carmel East You went over and beyond thank you so much

I must do this because my experience was so top level customer service I was in for a fistula surgery and the surgery Department and area gave me such a pleasant experience with everyone being so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. I had not been back since 2018 because of an unfortunate experience which left me thinking other wise and staying far away but today 4/18/25 it all changed Iam so grateful for all the nurses, anesthesiologists and my surgeon to the receptionist in both areas. The staff has forever changed my life and feelings and Thoughts by my time there today💕🦋remember there is still good and this world that can so dark at times .This is what I needed to share and say Thank you to all the Beautiful people that helped me today

The staff is amazing. I was so nervous and stressed for my sister first baby and she's not an English speaker. Everyone there treated her nicely and delivered proper services to her. The nurses are amazing. Thank you and I highly recommend this hospital for women and babies ❤️.

I had surgery on 7/17/25 to remove some facial lesions. I hadn’t had anesthesia since I was four years old (and I’m 66). The staff made me feel very comfortable and spent more time with me than they were required to. One nurse named Tammy was exceptionally supportive, interjecting humor with her knowledge, and I’m very thankful. Dr. Bernacki did a great job with my surgery.

This review is for the labor and delivery, mother and infant department. I came in Wednesday night had my baby Thursday morning Shout out to my team nurse April, Dr. Amanda Miss Alabama that just moved up here I didn’t catch anyone else’s name or remember sorry ladies, but they all were awesome When I moved up to mother and infant all my nurses were awesome and the tech I especially loved Miss Wendy Again, I’m sorry I don’t remember the other names. She was my nurse more than one day. They took care of me. They took care of the baby and also I love how this hospital still puts the sensors on the babies.

I was recently hospitalized after a serious car accident, and I’m deeply grateful for the exceptional care I received. My neurosurgeon, Dr. Baum, provided outstanding expertise and reassurance. On the 5th floor, Thomas Gregory (day nurse) and Matt (tech) offered consistent, compassionate support, while Kayla, the lead nurse, was always organized, present, and helpful. My evening nurse, Charlotte, delivered wonderful, attentive care each night. I also want to acknowledge Rob Fusner, Jeneba, Mahendra with the Nutritional Services team, and the many others who stepped in whenever needed. Even with the challenges of short staffing, the teamwork, professionalism, and genuine kindness shown by everyone made a tremendous difference in my recovery. Special thanks as well to my “virtual assistant,” Michelle B., for her steady support throughout this experience.

My dad is 100 and WWll vet. The security man in ER named John checked on him bf he left fir the night. Next day he went on his lunch hour to see my dad again in the hospital. He bought him a ballon and gifts and let my dad call me from his phone since he didn't have one. You have no idea what that meant to my family to have John do this. What a thoughtful and meaniful thing to do. Mount Carmel is blessed to have him in their employ and I've shared this experience with my whole family. Linda Haley

I wanted to thank Megan and Kaylee from Labor and Delivery . Megan took care of me in a moment where I was scared and had to have a C-Section sooner than the scheduled delivery date. She stayed with me even In the OR and held me when I was tearful and afraid to get my Anesthesia .She made me feel safe while my husband was unable to be in the room yet and helped me stay strong.Kaylee thank you for being so sweet and caring and answering all my questions to calm my nerves, thank you also for being there in the OR that day I had my twins. You made sure I had everything I needed from the providers and reassure me I would be okay. Thank you so much L&D team .

I was in Ohio for a work trip. I live in SC, so when I had some really bad pain and bloating around where my gallbladder was, I knew something was seriously wrong. I ended up at their sister location first where they ran bloodwork and a CT scan where they discovered that my WBC count was really high and my gallbladder was, indeed, looking a little funky on the CT. I was immediately treated for the pain and nausea I was experiencing. The guy who ended up giving me my IV was excellent and I hardly felt a thing! They wanted to investigate further so they had to send me to their East campus for an ultrasound. I got the ultrasound done rather quickly and they came back to me shortly and stated that they needed to remove my gallbladder as it was infected and full of stones 😬 This was a rather sticky situation that I was in since I was 8hrs from home AND on a work trip! Regardless of those few factors, the nurses and surgical staff I had were absolutely AMAZING! I did have to wait a rather long time to get into the OR, but I couldn't have cared less as long as I was able to get it done & out. Everyone was so nice and understanding and had no issues answering any of my questions and concerns. Thank you to all the staff on 5/20-5/21 that took excellent care of me! I may not have got to work my shift with loading out for the Bruno Mars show, but being able to laugh & chat with you all was a positive experience during a rather crappy situation 😊

I recently went to the ER, 5 days postpartum with shortness of breath after a complicated labor and delivery, after being induced with pre eclampsia. I informed the ER staff and despite the 20 people waiting to be seen they took me in the back right away and made me a priority. The doctor (B Hartshorn) was incredible, sat down next to me bed side, clearly explained my diagnostics, prognosis and treatment plan, while being incredibly kind. My nurses were also great too, they all were very clear in their communication. I am also a hard stick and they got it first try. My husband and I have both been here in the ER for other reasons within the last year and have always been well taken care of.
